I created this mood board for a potential fashion line titled "CHAPEL L'AMORE," inspired by the famous Little White Chapel and young couples' elopements in Las Vegas, Nevada. The color story reflects the shades of the Mojave Desert, from the sand’s browns and oranges to the desert sky’s blue-green hues. I included images of potential design elements, including a feather-trim cuff (accompanied by a radiant engagement ring), a rhinestone-embellished fringe skirt, and a pair of white western boots. Overall, I wanted to illustrate a youthful, extravagant, and euphoric atmosphere to celebrate love and life. I created a scene on the bottom that encompasses those elements; I highlighted my purpose by placing the couple in the forefront. Next to them to the left, I incorporated a vintage Cadillac to solidify the Vegas setting, and to the right, I added a champagne fountain to represent the feeling of celebration. My favorite part of the mood board is the desert background with lips along the canyon. I think this is a fun and playful addition which enhances the theme of love.
