Every year the Cornell Fashion Industry Network hosts its "Fashion Speaks" Gala, inviting the Cornell fashion community and guest speakers to discuss about current events in the fashion industry. As a member of the Events Planning Committee, I worked with two FSAD students to create the backdrop to coincide with this year's theme, "Vintage Influence on Fashion." We sourced vintage magazine covers from the digital Vogue archive and used Adobe Photoshop to emulate a Step and Repeat backdrop.
